 Q.  What makes API Limousine different from other companies?
We strive to provide you with the ultimate experience. From our exceptional customer service staff to our professionally trained chauffeurs and our certified mechanics, we offer a luxurious experience in our immaculately maintained premium vehicles. No detail goes unattended. Some companies arrive for your special event in a scratched and dented vehicle with poorly functioning air conditioning and abrasive chauffeurs. Q.  How much does it cost to rent a limousine? What payments do you accept?
The hourly investment for a limousine varies depending upon the size of the vehicle, the day of the week, the time of year, and the distance traveled.  Vehicles such as a Lincoln Town car averages $50 to $75/hr, Stretch Limousines for up to 8 passengers average $75 to $125/hr, Stretch SUVs for up to 14 passengers average $125 to $200/hr, and Party Buses for to up 30 passengers range from $200/hr on up. Our rates are All Inclusive.  Our knowledgeable customer service staff will be happy to assist you with any questions or special requests. We accept all major credit cards.
Q.  What does “All Inclusive” mean?  Do you have additional fees I need to pay?
API Limousine quotes rates that are “All Inclusive”.  This means that the price that we quote is the total investment for your trip. Most other Limousine companies quote a low “Teaser Rate” and then surprisingly add up to 25% more for Standby fees, Fuel Surcharge, Chauffeur Gratuity, Parking fees, Service Charges or illegal Sales Taxes. We want you to enjoy your experience with us without the worry of mystery fees. This is why we believe in all inclusive pricing and only positive surprises.
Q.  Do I need to pay the chauffeur an additional gratuity?
Our professional chauffeurs are highly trained and are compensated at a rate to inspire exceptional customer service.  Gratuity is included in your original price quote. However, if you believe that your personal chauffeur went above and beyond to make your special event relaxing and memorable, you may decide to acknowledge their efforts. No additional compensation is expected by our chauffeurs.
Q.  How to I contact my Chauffeur?
Upon arrival at your pick up location, our chauffeurs will provide you with a calling card to their direct cell phone number. Simply call the private number and request a pick up or ask for any special need to be fulfilled. Our customer service staff is also available at our company location to meet any of your needs during your experience.
Q.  How does your Reservation system operate?
To secure your reservation, simply complete the necessary information on our confidential web site or telephone with one of our Customer Service Representatives. Once we receive your information, we will contact you by phone and send an email to confirm your booking as well as to inquire about any VIP Concierge Services you may desire. Your email confirmation acts as our written guarantee to provide you with the services you desire.
Q.  When will my car and driver arrive at my pick up location? What if the car is late?
All Chauffeurs will arrive fifteen minutes prior to your scheduled reservation time.  If, for any reason, you are running late or if your limousine is unexpectedly delayed, simply contact our API Limousine Customer Service staff and we will resolve any challenges that may arise.
Q.  Is there a minimum hourly rental requirement?
Most limousine companies do not provide service for less than two hours. In order for you to experience the best we have to offer, each of our vehicles is meticulously prepared and detailed for at least 45 minute before and after each guest event. Therefore, we do maintain a minimum hourly requirement.  In special situations, we may deviate from our policy. Please contact our Customer Service Representatives to determine how we can satisfy your personal needs.
Q.  If we are having a great experience, can we extend our reservation time and keep our party going?
Absolutely. You may continue to enjoy your reservation as long as we can provide service to you without jeopardizing the needs of our next guests.  Simply discuss your desires with the chauffeur and we will do everything in our power to meet your needs and extend your enjoyment.
Q.  Are the vehicles certified and insured?
All of our vehicles are QVM certified which means that all vehicles have been tested for quality, safety, and structural integrity. You can rest assured that your limousine is the highest quality certified vehicle available. All of our vehicle are also fully insured, licensed, and registered with the California State Department of Transportation. Guests are welcome to inspect our safety documents which are carried on board each of our vehicles.
Q.  How do I cancel a reservation? Is there a fee?
On occasion, circumstance may dictate a change in a guest’s schedule and a prior reservation needs to be canceled. Due to our customer focused scheduling process, API Limousine WILL NOT double book reservations or place a guest’s special event in jeopardy. In order the meet the needs of our clients, we require at least a 7 day notification of a canceled reservation. If we are unable to receive adequate notification, a cancellation fee of 50% will be applied. In most cases, our customer service staff will be able to re-schedule your special event with a minimal amount of time and inconvenience.
Q.  What type of supervision do you provide for High School age clients?
Providing transportation services for minor clients is both an honor and a responsibility. We strive to provide the ultimate experience for all of our clients. Our Graduation and Prom customers are no different. We take special pride in delivering our younger clients with five star quality and SAFETY. For this reason, we prohibit the use of any drugs or alcohol in our vehicles and during any of our transportation events. To do otherwise would be illegal and unprofessional. All minors and parents must complete and endorse our Prom Contract at www.ipromiseprogram.com prior to any transportation event.
